While dear Ginger is just hopping aboard the comic book gravy train, her first book is being made into a movie. Actually, all six of Canuck Brian Lee O'Malley's Scott Pilgrim books (only five of which have yet been released) are being adapted into one flick, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. It's co-written and directed by Edgar Wright, a virtuoso mothafuckin' filmatist and an astoundingly nice guy to boot; it's shot by Bill Pope, one of my favorite working cinematographers; it's shooting now in the Great White North. Wright updates his flickr every day with at least one picture like that scintillating, sexy little morsel above. Head over and surf subspace like you know what I'm talking about.

And yeah, if you're gonna crush on a fictitious woman, you can't do much better than Ramona Flowers.

my first comic book.

i read my very first comic book last night. a copy of jack's first scott pilgrim. i enjoyed it. I think jack has a crush on ramona flowers. the girl playing her in the movie is pretty cute too.

i love the heat.

it was mega hot today, so I got some scoops. guinness chocolate and honey pistachio. i'm craving a BLT. i've never had a BLT.

also, i found the freakin perfectest room in echo park ever and i'm DYING to know if i can freakin go ahead and put down my deposit already.

KXLU fundrazor was awesome. I won the ONLY ticket from losanjealous and felt like a rockstar. foot village was absolutely insane and i loved it. and happy hollows won my heart.
